So ... i don't wanna cry like ''jil'' or ''horney1'' but i don't see any more reasons to share my opinion to the forum.. not because of you guys, but this decision is based on my music taste which i can't find here. I mean, i was very excited about Sing2me and Leave a light on but after 2-3 listens i already get bored so I was asking myself why should i always come here and post negativ comments about tracks... I can't get the hype about those new ''house'' artists and the old ones are not going the way i'd like them to do.. Dirty South is becoming garbage ; Thomas Gold is over-overrated imo ; Avicii and Alesso, nuff said ; the 3 swedes are one of my biggest disappointement since many months, especially Axwell ; Arno Cost, where are you ? ; Deniz Koyu, Swanky Tunes... ; and so on... I dont wanny critizice your music taste guys, thats not my statement, i just realize that i dont like most of stuff posted here, except a few threads like pryda friends, the tech thread or the classic thread where i can find the music im looking for. The way house music is going is not for me anymore... sure i can like 1-2 ''house'' tracks but it isnt enough for me to share my opinion and be something like a ''hater''. And IMO, in 6-12 months, this forum will be full of Alesso and Avicii fans... so im not totally off to the forum, i will come every day because its a drug and there are lots of people i like here but i wont be the hater i used to be (honestly, i dunno if I'll achieve that point ) hope i'm enough clear

I know exactly what you mean man. I'm also lurking the forum pretty much every day but I don't comment anymore because i just have nothing 'positive' to say about the music here.

I think I got your thoughts From your point it is comprehensible that your connection to this forum isnt as close as before. But I'm glad to hear that you value members of this forum and dont "hate" on this place like some others did before. I give you a warm welcome if you come to this place in future to talk with us about any kind of music, events etc! Hopefully the Avicii and Alesso-Fanboys stay away from here

These are the days full of mediocre producers and mediocre tracks and lots of people that jump on a bandwagon called EDM (I hate that term). But I personally still hope for something better. There are no guys like Ax, Seb, Steve and Eric. They had (have) a very big musical influence on me.
Steve for example has 4 upcoming originals in his case, I wonder how they will sound and also Seb is now back in Stockholm, back in his studio.

What can I say.... I know you Mickael, Ruben, Julian and Manuel... we're from the old school, as if we can name it that already Im that old? I totally get you Mickael, I really do, and Im still here because this forum and the love for them is huge, always will... I dont wanna stretch it anymore, because you have said everything. We're the big boys from this and from the old forum, and others like Pieschi, Toblip, etc So dont worry, new generation, we will be right here as we can...

I'm playing with the same thoughts as Mickael. So I really appreciate your meaning about the whole thing, you got my support for this. In way of Mickael's opinion, I stay in a little difference. I even do like electro house a little bit. But House got me 2 years ago of the hook, it was that music made me lose tons of weight, making me happy and I really liked it in 2011. I got it as a listener, DJ and producer. I loved this kind of. But I get back to the roots of mainstream (not David Guetta ) but I'm playing with the thought of getting a distance to all of this. I really liked this, but it's taking such an awful amount of time and the electro shit is not my thing, so I just leave with the podcast on 4th of May including the last Axwell Selection out of my hands (would be cool, if someone could keep this up here), but I'm really tired of the Alesso, Avicii, Skrillex, Afrojack whatever... Thanks for an amazing time, you will stay in my heart, even if it sound strange. You really made my life better every day. Thanks for this. Maybe we will see us in future... Thanks, Guys.

This goes a little bit different in my way, since I'm kind of a newcomer here ... I decided to start using this forum because I've always loved house music in general, it's a genre that amazes me by the unique sounds of it, by how you can simply make a good tune just by following your mind... I've been a house music fanatic since 2008 already, even though I kinda stopped listening to it in 2009-2010 and returned last year, it always amazed me, even more on its evolution. This year finally I found a good forum talking about good music, with awesome people, sadly a bit too late I guess, so I understand your sadness, to what house music is turning and what house music is making to people. I understand you, because comparing this to this and saying its the same genre of music is kinda sad. Oh well, don't know what to say, since I'm kinda from the new generation but I hope the ones who/if are leaving ever come back and I don't think this forum is getting taken over by Avicii or Alesso fans, because these Minimal/Deep/Tech, Pryda & SHM Threads are the ones which are really alive.

Extreme newfag inbound
I really agree with what's been said above. Let's just hope that the EDM-shitstorm will be over soon and won't take anymore good producers and turns them into disappointments.
By the way, I didn't even know that jil and horney were active on this forum (are they though? yes, I'm that new).
