Let me drop my thoughts here. I have lot of great memories connected to Axwell but I have to say as well that today I am a bit disappointed. Lets put it like this. Few years ago every Axwell gig was amazing, with lot of energy, so much new tracks, so much unexpected mashups and drops, every gig ended with Axwell waiting for every single person who wanted to take a picture to do it, he never left..personally, my best Axwells gig was Papaya 2010, it was the last party of that summer, he played till the sunrise, took photos after the gig, we even had a little conversation..and 2012? Well, hes not active on his forum, he was here last time year ago? He dont release tracks, he plays more - less the same set for the whole year. I was on two of his gigs this year, and they werent much different. Ok, its not the same set and the tracklisting was not exactly the same, but the tracks were 99% same. He plays 2 hours and goes home. There is no contact with the audience. There is no Axwell coming down taking pictures. There is NOTHING that can be related to what Axwell was before. So I ask you guys here, what is happening? I tweeted him few days ago and he replies "I wish I had more time". Ok, cool, I can see that he cannot be on his forum anymore, but does that mean that he cannot give just a little more attention to hardocre fans? Me and my friends are always in the first raw on his gig, every smile we get from him means a lot, but I feel like this year its all lost..and thats what makes me sad
So, I will say that the best moments with axwell were actually all the gigs and tracks till 2010, and today - I see just a big disappointment. Only hope I have is the SHM breakup and hoping that he will find more time to make tracks for us because thats what its all about. And maybe we get his attention at the gigs as well..

It could be that he has gained more popularity and more people want to take pics with him. Partly because he's 1/3 of SHM and also he's gained more popularity

I can talk about the 2008 Exit festival again... I really felt the genius of Axwell behind the decks on this one :
I loved the mashup made with "ID/Watch the Sunrise" (I didn't know it was "Apocalypse" before ) here... And the Dubfire remix of "I Found U" had a pretty incredible reaction... Axwell surprised me over and over with this video. I just started DJ-ing and I wanted to be as good as him... And I realized it's almost impossible What I thought after watching the video "... ... ... MAN ! I wish I could get those reactions ! Now, let's get to work...". And I'm still working on it, since 3 years now...
Anyway, enjoy this video !
