Mmmh I think you exaggerate a little bit, Deadmau5 has done awesome tracks like Strobe, I Remember, or Brazil 2nd Edit just to name a few! He's actually the only electro producer I frequently listen to, and imo his sets are great, even though he only plays his tracks. But I get your point, it seems like everything Deadmau5 does just "can't" be bad, like for example 4x4=12, who sucks a lot. The only thing I can blame on Deadmau5 is to have pushed Skrillex to the top of Beatport's charts. Now this fucking dubstep is everywhere !

What about Dada Life and his always repetitive tracks? I can't stand them!

Still and always underrated I think we can talk about John Dahlbäck. He's just a release machine and there are always great tracks from him (remix of Sneaky Sound System is just a bomb).

I hate to say it (because they were my favorite act of 2009 and 2010) but SHM produced nothing but garbage all year long. Both their singles were crap and their sets were a mix of recycled songs and a clusterf*ck of crappy sounding bootlegs. Luckily we still have some of their genius older stuff because the stuff they've been churning out the past 12+ months or so has been awful.

In my honest opinion, Avicii is one of the best producers out there, but he's a really overrated one sadly... He does produces high quality stuff, but since he released Levels, he got so overrated that its sad For example, he even got "mixed" into David Guetta's zone in Tomorrowland 2012, into "Dance/Pop", when Avicii's style is completly light progressive house. As of 2011, the ones who let me down were Swedish House Mafia. 'Antidote' is really cool, but if we compare it to One for example, I simply get sad to how low the quality went. They seem to be producing commercial right now, which is sad, because their name is also Swedish House Mafia, not S. Commercial M.

I've putted Avicii in that category, because his recent stuff is really commercial if you compare it with his work ~2010 and earlier.

Yea Avicii could release so much better stuff, he got great unreleased music that doesn't sound the commercial stuff nowadays and he doesn't release these =/
